NOTE:

  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.

  • Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.

  • Check the second row center seat belts for damage, and replace them if necessary. Be careful not to damage them during removal and installation.

  1. Remove the headliner.

  1. Remove the upper anchor bolts (A), then remove the upper anchor (B).

  2. A7/16-20 UNF39 N·m (4.0 kgf·m, 29 lbf·ft)BA7/16-20 UNF39 N·m (4.0 kgf·m, 29 lbf·ft)

  1. Remove the bolts (A) and the seat belt guide (B).

  2. BA6 x 1.0 mm9.4 N·m (0.96 kgf·m,6.9 lbf·ft)
  1. Remove the second row center seat belt retractor bolts (A), then remove the second row center seat belt assembly (B).

  2. A7/16-20 UNF39 N·m(4.0 kgf·m, 29 lbf·ft)A7/16-20 UNF39 N·m(4.0 kgf·m, 29 lbf·ft)B

  1. Install the seat belt assembly in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

    • Check that the retractor locking mechanism functions.

    • Before installing the anchor bolt, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the seat belt.
