Take care not to scratch the door, the body or the related parts.
Pad a floor jack (A) with a rubber pad (B), then use the jack to support the door.
Remove the lower roller plate.
Remove the lower roller assembly (A).
Remove the bolts with a TORX T40 bit.
Loosen the locknuts (B) and the adjusting nuts (C), then remove the cables (D).
Install the cables on the new lower roller assembly.
Do the sliding door cable adjustment on the following cables:
Lower roller latch cable
Lower roller stop cable
Install the lower roller assembly in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
Make sure the cable is connected securely.
Make sure the sliding door can be kept open.
Make sure the sliding door closes. When operating the door outer
handle or the inner handle while the door is fully opened, the lower
roller latch cable is pulled by the remote control to unlatch the lower
roller latch.
