NOTE: Tell the customer they need to write down all phone numbers stored in the HFL and the navigation imported phone book as there is no way to transfer the information in the original HandsFreeLink control unit to a new HandsFreeLink control unit.

  1. Remove the center middle panel.

  1. Remove the passenger's middle panel.

  1. Remove the center panel.

  1. Remove the center lower console.

  1. With navigation, remove the audio-navigation unit assembly.

  1. Without navigation, remove the audio unit assembly:

    • With touch screen

    • Without touch screen

  1. Remove the screws, then disconnect the connectors (A) and (B) from the HandsFreeLink control unit (C), and remove it.

  2. ACB (with touch screen)
  3. Install the HandsFreeLink control unit in the reverse order of removal.

    After replacing the HandsFreeLink control unit, tell the customer:

    • They need to pair their cell phones to the system.

    • They need to set up their system preferences.
